Machining centres, digital systems and services, 3D metal printing and more...

CHIRON Group presented innovative solutions for highly productive, future-proof manufacturing processes at EMO 2021.
tructural components made of aluminium for e-mobility.

Competent, smart, innovative, sustainable. These four terms characterised the CHIRON Group's appearance at EMO MILANO 2021: machining centres such as the extremely compact Micro5 or the DZ 25 P five axis with a spindle distance of 800 mm for large-volume components, the new CHIRON 715 series for bar machining, 3D metal printing with the AM Cube or digital systems and services: The CHIRON Group presented the appropriate solutions for productive as well as sustainable manufacturing processes.

Bernd Hilgarth, Managing Director Sales of the CHIRON Group, draws a positive conclusion in every respect after six days at the trade fair: "Machining centres live under chip, the buzz of voices and machine noises, large halls full of life, personal exchange instead of video meetings... this was a long-lost, special experience for everyone, visitors and exhibitors alike. We are pleased to have been there and to have been able to show the international trade visitors how they can manufacture even more productively, profitably and sustainably with the solutions of our four strong brands CHIRON, STAMA, FACTORY5 and CMS."

Innovative manufacturing solutions of every dimension
Hall 4, Stand B05: This was the right trade fair address for all those who want to anticipate the future today and strengthen their competitive position. The highlight for visitors from the high-precision micro-machining sector was the Micro5. Small, strong and black like an espresso on the stand, the FACTORY5 brand machining centre demonstrated in live operation how smartly and energy-efficiently the smallest parts for medical technology, watches and jewellery can be manufactured. The DZ 25 P five axis with a spindle distance of 800 mm for double-spindle machining of large-volume, complex components could also be experienced live under chip removal. Best values in precision, achieved in short cycle times and thus highest productivity, with a reduced use of space, energy and raw materials not only compared to single-spindle machines: This successful combination attracted visitors from the automotive and aerospace industries.

In the digital showroom, the CHIRON Group presented another efficiency gain: the DZ 28 P five axis with a spindle distance of 1,200 mm. With pallet changer for high piece numbers and - smart element for best access to the work area - operation and loading on separate sides. The new CHIRON 715 series for multifunctional, autonomous machining of workpieces, for milling and turning with or without bar or as profile machining, also recorded high "click numbers" in the digital showroom. The Additive Manufacturing area demonstrated how two competences of the CHIRON Group - machining and additive manufacturing - create a perfect result in symbiosis, so to speak, using the example of a virtual repair process.
The trade fair presentation was rounded off by the digital systems of the SmartLine portfolio and SmartServices. Digital services with which customers can get the best out of their production in every phase of the machine life cycle and produce even more profitably.
