Carbon Sets Sights on Formnext for New Technology Solution Announcement

New extension to product offering improves and simplifies post-processing time by reducing workflows to a single step

Furthering its objective to enable manufacturers to produce radically better products, leading product development and manufacturing technology company, Carbon, will announce a new technology development engineered to drive increased efficiencies within additive manufacturing at this year’s Formnext (Frankfurt, Germany, November 18th – 21st).

The company’s new technology solution is designed to significantly improve and simplify post-processing time by dramatically reducing workflow steps, labor, and solvent use, while enabling precise cleaning and high-throughput production of final end-use parts.

At Formnext (Hall 11.1, stand no.C61), visitors can learn how Carbon became a leader in producing advanced elastomers that meet diverse needs in both consumer and industrial 3D printing. This expansive range of innovative materials is used by leading global footwear, cycling, and sports helmet brands for groundbreaking comfort and performance benefits, as well as by companies within areas like med-tech and automotive to create superior engineering-grade products and parts.

“Streamlined workflows are critical to unlocking scalability and making 3D printing more viable and easier to implement for whole new categories of products and industries,” says Kristi Smith, VP Global Design to Production at Carbon, “We are proud to deliver both hardware and material solutions that can improve the production experience for our customers.”

2025: Leading brands celebrate success with radically better products

Carbon’s unceasing commitment to drive innovation that delivers greater performance, safety, and comfort is exemplified by its recent impact and success within professional sports.

“This year’s Tour de France saw seven of the top ten finishers – including the race winner – cross the finish line on Carbon-produced saddles, while six of the top eight safety-rated helmets within America’s premier football league this season use Carbon technology to improve player protection on the field.

“These achievements underscore how companies can leverage our innovative technology to make radically better products while unlocking opportunities in new application areas and markets. Any brand or manufacturer seeking to expand their applications offering and/or improve the way they design and produce products shouldn’t leave Frankfurt without having a chat with our team at Formnext,” concludes Smith.
