- SOLIDWORKS users can create new customer experiences through seamless collaboration, integrated data management and hardware-independent cloud access
- Dassault Systèmes enables users to open up new opportunities for their business through the platform concept - and thus save time and money

Dassault Systèmes (Euronext Paris: #13065, DSY.PA) announced new commercial offers for 3DEXPERIENCE WORKS. SOLIDWORKS users will benefit from networked, integrated and automated ways to optimize their creative work processes and thus save time and money.

The new offerings - Standard, Professional and Premium - include SOLIDWORKS Standard, Professional and Premium applications that are installed, licensed and updated directly on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform. Data can also be stored directly in the platform. This combination allows SOLIDWORKS users to design and develop new customer experiences on the same desktop application that they have been familiar with for years - and at the same time benefit from the advantages of a digital platform: improved collaboration, integrated and user-friendly data management, automatic software updates, and flexible access to the latest project data at any time and in one place.

The scalable offerings include 3D Creator and 3D Sculptor, advanced design applications that run in any browser and from anywhere. In addition, users can enhance and expand their SOLIDWORKS capabilities through a variety of powerful 3DEXPERIENCE WORKS applications, using only the programs they need. Users have access to all the features of the platform that are needed for successful digital transformation in companies.

"Customers today want more than just modeling. They want a lifelike simulation of their product. This requires better design, simulation, control, management and manufacturing processes and - perhaps most importantly - the ability to collaborate along the value chain. So we want to offer customers more options that make sense for their business. This is why we have made it especially easy for them to recognize and take advantage of the benefits of 3DEXPERIENCE WORKS," said Gian Paolo Bassi, CEO of SOLIDWORKS, Dassault Systèmes. "With our new commercial offerings, SOLIDWORKS users will have access to powerful desktop applications they know and love - with significant added value. On the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, all parties involved in the concept, design, simulation, manufacturing, sales and service processes are linked and can always interact with each other seamlessly. Of course, our SOLIDWORKS customers can still purchase the stand-alone SOLIDWORKS desktop version if they prefer. However, our new customer-focused option creates more time and space to find, develop and implement ideas. We are also planning similar offerings for the education and start-up sectors.
