Converting steps into cash: Antalis marches for MIND

Antalis UK raised an impressive £3,214 for mental health charity, MIND, through their walking challenge.

Throughout the month of May, the Antalis team walked the distance from Dublin to every single one of their sites – 1,614 miles! For every mile capped, Antalis donated £2 to MIND, a charity who provide advice and support to anyone experiencing a mental health problem.
The challenge began on 10 May in conjunction with Mental Health Awareness week, and was then extended to the rest of May for National Walking Month. After speaking to his team about the effects of COVID-19 on their mental wellbeing, Gary Tilbrook, Regional Business Director at Antalis, came up with the idea of the Antalis team raising money for MIND, who continuously campaign to improve mental health services, raise awareness, and promote understanding.
Hayley James, Communications Executive, Human Resources Antalis says, “a very big thank you to everyone who got involved in our walking challenge. Not only have you done something positive and proactive for your fitness and mental wellbeing, you have also raised valuable money for MIND”.
