Technical Association of the Graphic Arts Annual Technical Conference Showcases New Technologies and Solutions in 2016

Printing Industries of America (PIA) announces the Technical Association of the Graphic Arts (TAGA) 68th Annual Technical Conference, March 20–23, 2016, in Memphis, Tennessee. Conference attendees from around the world will come together to discuss innovations and present papers on research and development advances in the industry.

The Annual Technical Conference presentations focus on emerging technology in production workflow, production systems, and imaging methods while continuing to examine changes in press equipment, paper, ink, and consumables. Papers selected for presentation will also be published in the annual TAGA Proceedings publication.

"TAGA shines a light on where the industry is going, helping companies develop and grow their businesses" said Dr. Mark Bohan, vice president of Technology and Research, PIA and TAGA managing director. "Innovators worldwide will come to Memphis to explore the technology that is remaking our industry."

Founded in 1948, TAGA is the premier global association for individuals researching, developing, and studying graphic arts technology. It provides a worldwide forum for sharing and disseminating theoretical, functional, and practical information on current and emerging technologies for print production and related processes. Attendance is comprised of print professionals investigating and utilizing leading-edge technology; scientists and researchers developing technology for industry suppliers; and, university professors and students conducting basic and applied research.
