On 25 April 2022, SCREEN Holdings Corporation (hereafter SCREEN) and the NPO Tensai Art KYOTO (hereafter Tensai Art) signed an agreement to support the artistic and creative activities of people with disabilities with the aim of promoting their artistic activities and social participation, as well as realising a symbiotic society.

The agreement stipulates that SCREEN will cooperate with the activities of KYOTO, including support for the artistic and creative activities of people with disabilities and exhibitions of their works, in support of KYOTO's philosophy of realising a normalised society through the enrichment of independence and social participation of people with disabilities.
The collaboration between the two organisations, both based in Nishijin, Kyoto, aims to realise a sustainable society that emphasises co-existence and community contribution.

Established in 2011 by education and welfare professionals and art experts in Kyoto with the aim of promoting and supporting the artistic and creative activities of people with disabilities, promoting their social participation and contributing to the development of art and culture. In addition to setting up ateliers in closed facilities of Kyoto municipal schools and providing registered artists (currently 40) with a place for artistic activities, KYOTO is involved in the collection, archival preservation and utilisation of artworks, the holding of special exhibitions, various exhibitions and temporary enclosures for public works, and travelling guidance of artistic activities to comprehensive support schools and welfare facilities.
