Joint presentation at the "All in Print 2014" exhibition in Shanghai

• German joint stand with more than a dozen manufacturers

• China is the most important single market for German printing and paper technology

800 international exhibitors, more than 100,000 visitors as well as business delegations from all over Asia are expected for the fifth "All in Print" at the Shanghai New International Expo Center (SNIEC) from 14 to 17 November 2014. Among the exhibitors are more than a dozen German manufacturers of printing machines and paper technology as well as suppliers who will present themselves under the motto "Made in Germany" at the VDMA joint stand in hall W2.
The expectations placed on the exhibition are high. "China is the most important single market for German printing machines and paper technology," says Dr. Markus Heering, the Managing Director of the VDMA Printing and Paper Technology Association. In 2013 alone, printing machinery worth 453 million euros, paper technology worth 240 million euros and paper converting machines worth 54 million euros were delivered to China. Although the exports were noticeably lower than in 2012, they still total 747 million euros. By comparison: During the same period, the German suppliers of printing and paper technology made sales amounting to 440 million euros in the second largest buyer market, the USA.
Under the motto "Made in Germany", besides Koenig & Bauer AG, the bookbinding machinery specialist Kolbus, the specialist for cutting technology POLAR-Mohr GmbH & Co.KG, and LEONHARD KURZ Stiftung & Co. KG from the hot stamping technology segment will be represented in Shanghai. In addition, TKM GmbH, Baumüller, Windmöller & Hölscher, Garant Maschinenhandel, Winkler+Dünnebier and SPS-technoscreen use this opportunity for a joint presentation at this exhibition. To make the stand complete, Max Schlatterer GmbH & Co.KG, Felix Schoeller Group, Gustav Göckel Maschinenfabrik GmbH, and CRUSE Spezialmaschinen GmbH will be there. Of course, the VDMA Printing and Paper Technology Association will be represented as well, i.e., via its PrintPromotion GmbH that organised this 581 square metre stand.
Strong growth of the exhibition inspires confidence
Since 2003 the "All in Print" has been organised every three years – and this year expects a strong impetus for growth. While the number of exhibitors was approximately 650 at the last three exhibitions, now almost 800 exhibitors have announced their participation. In addition, the organisers – Messe Düsseldorf (Shanghai) – expect that the number of visitors will double compared to 2011. At that time, this exhibition for printing and paper technology attracted 55,500 visitors. In addition, the organisers expect large business delegations from India, Korea, the Philippines and other Asian countries.
The positive environment and the interest in China and beyond give confidence to the German exhibitors. "We hope that our joint representation at this exhibition can contribute

to a boost in the demand for German printing and paper technology in the region," explains Heering speaking for the companies exhibiting there.
