The European Union officially supports plastprintpack Nigeria 2015, the 1st International Trade Show on Plastics, Printing & Packaging Solutions and Material. European companies can make an important contribution to the success of the industrialization of Nigeria with its 160 million consumers.

The European Union officially supports the international trade show plastprintpack Nigeria 2015. This becomes evident from a letter of 28 October 2014 of Michel Arrion, Head of Delegation and Ambassador of the European Union – Delegation to Nigeria and to the Economic Community of West Africa States.
"European companies can make an important contribution to the success of the industrialization of Nigeria with its 160 million consumers. With more than 1.5 million jobs, 5 percent of all workers are employed in the food and packaging industry. This offers great potential for European suppliers in the field of machinery and equipment as well as for technological know-how."
He further renders his support for the event: "The Delegation of the European Union to Nigeria and ECOWAS therefore welcomes the initiative of fairtrade Messe to organize the 1st International Trade Fair plastprintpack Nigeria and in parallel agrofood Nigeria, to be held at the Landmark Centre in Lagos on 28-30 April 2015."
