Sharethrough Announces The Native Advertising Summit - San Francisco

Executives to gather in the world's technology center to chart the future of the native advertising category

Sharethrough, the leading native advertising exchange, today announced that it will host its flagship event, The Native Advertising Summit (NAS), in San Francisco on July 22, 2014. NAS–SF will be held at the SFJAZZ Center, a 700-person theatre located in the heart of the Performing Arts District. Attendees will hear from the world's leading brands, publishers, and technology companies as they showcase the ongoing development of content programs and native advertising software.

Speakers at the Summit include individuals from EA, Intel, Pepsi, The North Face, Medium, Pinterest, Clorox, Sharethrough, LinkedIn, The New York Times, Yahoo and many others.

Discussion topics will be centered around how brands are evolving their use of different forms of online content, including novel partnerships with professional media companies, and how technology platforms, such as the Sharethrough Exchange, and publishers are working together to develop new revenue streams for digital properties that are now "mobile first" in design and content strategy.

"The Summit series has drawn significant attention across the country, but there is a unique excitement around this one," said Dan Greenberg, CEO and co-founder of Sharethrough. "If you look at how the major social platforms have monetized their feeds, the Bay Area is really the birthplace of modern native ads. Now, the region is home to software companies like Sharethrough who are bringing those same models to the rest of the web."

In 2013, four Native Advertising Summits were held throughout the United States, drawing over combined 1,500 attendees and speakers from companies including GE, Virgin Mobile, L'Oreal, GAP, Coca-Cola, Cole Haan, Vice, The Atlantic, The Onion, and more.

There are still a select number of sponsorships and tickets available.
