Canon Italia S.p.A. announces it has signed an agreement to acquire Integra Document Management (IDM), an Italian company focused on Document and Business Process Outsourcing.
This agreement shows Canon's commitment in building a successful long term presence as a leader in the Information Management and BPO market segment, supporting Italian companies in their journey to digitalization.
"This important investment on the Italian market is a fundamental step in Canon Italy's growth strategy that the company recently introduced", said Enrico Deluchi, Managing Director, Canon Italy. "We accepted the challenge to invest in Italy because this is an important signal of confidence in our market. We are also convinced that we can bring a valuable support to companies and the Public Sector in the digitalization process".
IDM was founded in 2001 and is positioned among the first Italian companies that can guarantee a direct, total and integrated document and information management outsourced process, for both printed and digital documents. IDM success is based on the quality of its services, on a strong partnership strategy and on a solid entrepreneurial approach.

The acquisition is expected to be completed in February 2015 and IDM will continue to operate as a standalone company in the Canon Group.
