Headquartered in Pleasanton, California, ExtraTeam is an IT solution provider with competencies across a wide range of technologies. SPS specializes in design, integration and managed services for communication applications including collaboration, video, core infrastructure, voice, and contact centers. SPS teams with clients, providing professional services, managed services and cloud-based solutions to deliver exceptional results.

"We are impressed with ExtraTeam's technical capabilities and culture of teaming with clients to enhance business outcomes," said John Poole, SPS President and CEO. "Our common competencies enable us to broaden our reach and strengthen existing partner relationships, while our adjacent capabilities extend greater value within our client base."

Backed by the support of leading hardware and software vendors like Avaya, Cisco, Microsoft, Polycom and other major vendors, SPS and ExtraTeam tell a powerful client-focused story. Synergies between the two organizations provide current and future clients with a compelling value proposition that drives productivity and collaboration.

"We are very pleased to join the SPS family," said Neil Setchell, ExtraTeam CEO. "For the last 17 years, ExtraTeam has delivered world-class solutions to customers predominantly in the San Francisco Bay Area. SPS has a multi-national reach and shares our vision for outstanding customer service. We are very excited about the possibilities this merger brings to our joint customer base."

The combined company will continue to grow its portfolio to meet the needs of the marketplace. Reporting to Poole, Setchell will become SPS's Chief Strategy Officer, promoting SPS as the leading collaboration provider in the U.S. and overseeing the ExtraTeam transition.
