Precision Proco Group Purchases Photobox Produktion Facility in West London

Precision Proco Group has continued its ambitious growth plans, with the purchase of the West London production facility of Photobox.

The company successfully completed a deal on the Willen Field Road facility on 1 August 2021 and has now taken over the site, and as part of the transaction the affiliated Photobox employees will transfer to Precision Proco Group.
Photobox, set up in 2000 to offer the public the opportunity to upload their favourite photographs and create books and merchandise, has had a close relationship with the Precision Proco Group for a number of years.
The aim is now to strengthen this relationship even further, with a commitment to the continued production of Photobox products at the site.
Gary Peeling, CEO of Precision Proco Group, believes the purchase was a logical move for both companies.
“Having worked with the team at Photobox over a number of years we are delighted to bring the UK production facility into the Precision Proco Group family,” he said.
“Combining their expertise and people with our workflow automation will enable us to further develop our smarter utilisation strategy across production sites throughout the UK.
“We believe this will benefit customers across the group, as we maximise capacity across the network, streamline production processes and continue to bring innovative products and services to market.”
Gordon Brophy, Chief Manufacturing Officer of Photobox said the team were delighted that the deal had been concluded.
“We are pleased to have concluded the transfer of Willen Field Road to our long standing partner Precision Proco Group,” he said.
“As we continue to focus on delivering the highest quality products to our customers at market leading speed - we value this new partnership with PPG.
“ We are confident it will leverage strengths and skills of the production team on site and with Precision Proco Group’s technology and their ethos will create a positive future for our business in the UK.”
The deal only involves the purchase of the UK production facility and does not involve any other aspect of Photobox’s business.
