MPS Systems appoints new Area Sales Manager

As a result of successful international sales and forecasted growth, Matthijs Stevens joins the MPS sales organization in role of area sales manager.

MPS today announced that Matthijs Stevens has been appointed as area sales manager, in response to successful international sales and forecasted future growth of the company's product range of flexo and offset press lines. Matthijs joined the MPS team in February.

Wim van den Bosch, CEO of MPS is glad to have Matthijs on the team: "It is MPS' goal to help customers becoming even more successful in their markets, and the appointment of Matthijs is another important step for MPS to be able to provide worldwide advice and support to our customers."

Matthijs brings 5+ years of sales experience in international B2B markets, including the label printing industry.
His former professional roles include direct sales as well as managing international sales channels. From 2010 to 2013 he worked as area sales manager at Stork Prints, selling digital systems, rotary screen systems and services to the label and packaging industries in major European and Asian markets. During the last 2 years, Matthijs was commercially responsible for the EMEA operations at a company that produces and sells vacuum packaging machines. He is excited to be back in the label and packaging printing industry. Matthijs' educational background includes Business Studies at Tilburg University.
At MPS, Matthijs will be commercially responsible for the following markets: Poland, Turkey, parts of southern Europe and the Middle East. Matthijs comments: "I hope to contribute to our growth in the near future by listening carefully to what the market needs, and helping our agents and distributors to supply the right answers."
Matthijs will be officially introduced to the market at Gulf Print & Pack in Dubai, joining MPS's new agent Anoop Plastic Products Trd. Est. in stand J18.
