SLM Solutions, Lübeck, Germany, has appointed Antonio Baldassarre as the Head of Software Development and Testing. Antonio has an extensive experience in Control and Embedded systems engineering, leading design and development teams mainly in the Oil&Gas Industry.
Before joining SLM Solutions, Antonio worked as Control Engineering Leader in General Electric (“GE Oil&Gas”/” Baker Hughes a GE Company”) leading a global organization responsible for Turbomachinery Control system and Software design. Beyond Oil&Gas and Turbomachinery, Antonio has grown his technical expertise designing and developing software for embedded systems in Textile and Bank Automation Industries.
Antonio holds a Master’s degree and a PhD from the University of Florence, Italy.
