Rexam names Rich Grimley Director of Group Operations and Claude Marbach Sector Director of North America

In a continued effort to align its business to deliver for its customers, Rich Grimley, currently Sector Director for Rexam's North American operations,  has been named Director of Group Operations for Rexam based in the U.K. effective January 1, 2015. Rexam is a leading global beverage can maker based in London, with approximately $7 billion in revenue.

Rich has led Rexam's North America business since 2012, when he was named Sector Director. Rich joined Rexam in 2001, as vice president of Manufacturing and proceeded through levels of increasing responsibility leading up to his previous position as Chief Operating Officer for Rexam's North and South American beverage can businesses.

Rich previously worked for National Can, American National Can, Reynolds Metals and Ball Corporation in various operations leadership roles.  He was also a principal owner of Bev-Pak, Inc., a beverage can manufacturer. He is a 1980 graduate of the University of Iowa and he received his MBA in 1984 from Benedictine University.

Claude Marbach will take over Rich's role in the U.S., as he has been named the new Sector Director of North America.

Claude joined Rexam in 1992 as an engineer, and has spent the last 22 years moving through roles of increasing responsibility culminating in his most recent position as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the company's North American beverage can operations. His successful experiences across Rexam in sales, supply chain, finance and engineering have given him a cross-functional expertise and a reputation for strong leadership that will help him direct Rexam's ongoing efforts to drive excellence throughout its organization.

Claude has a Bachelor's degree in Industrial and Mechanical Engineering from Hautes Etudes Industrielles Engineering University in Lille, France. He also earned a Masters of Management in Marketing and Strategy from Northwestern University. Claude and his family will remain based in Chicago.
