Marcel Kiessling leaves the company- Harald Weimer succeeds him as new member of the Executive Management Board

Marcel Kiessling (age 53), Member of the Executive Management Board for Sales and Services of Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG (Heidelberg), will leave the company by mutual agreement as of March 31, 2014. Marcel Kiessling worked for Heidelberg since 1989. Before having been appointed to the Executive Management Board in 2010, he was responsible for Heidelberg's business in the Americas from 2004 until 2010. "Marcel Kiessling has provided many years of dedicated service for our Group, most recently with the establishment and expansion of the Services business. In the restructuring of our global sales organization Mr. Kiessling has done excellent work over the past few years", said Robert J. Koehler, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Heidelberg.
In the context of the realignment of the Group, the Supervisory Board of Heidelberg appointed Harald Weimer (age 49) as a regular member of the Executive Management Board with effect from April 1, 2014. His responsibilities will comprise the Business Areas Services and Parts as well as Consumables and Remarketed Equipment. His responsibilities also include the management of the global marketing and sales organization of the Group. Harald Weimer has worked for Heidelberg for more than 15 years. He is a graduated engineer and was responsible for several key positions in Heidelberg's global sales organization, most recently as Head of Region Americas since 2011. "We are delighted to have gained an experienced manager in Mr. Weimer, who has been working successfully for the Group for many years, as a successor", said Robert J. Koehler. "It is now time to enter the next phase in the realignment of the business areas and seize the future growth opportunities of this segment, to achieve sustainable profitability for Heidelberg."
