Enterprise Sales Veteran Doug Grigg Joins Plex as Chief Sales Officer

Plex, the leader in cloud-based ERP for manufacturers, Thursday announced it appointed Doug Grigg chief sales officer. He has responsibility for all Plex sales operations worldwide.

Grigg was most recently at Marketo, where he led the company's enterprise sales team. He also spent more than a decade leading sales teams at Oracle, focused on manufacturing organizations. In this new role, Grigg reports to Plex chief executive officer, Jason Blessing.

-- Doug Grigg has been named Plex Systems chief sales officer, effective

immediately.

-- Grigg recently served as vice president, enterprise sales for Marketo, a

leading provider of cloud-based marketing automation solutions. At

Marketo, Grigg spearheaded the company's entry into the enterprise

market and helped fuel the company's 60-plus percent revenue growth in

2013, along with one of the year's most successful IPOs.

-- Previously, Grigg spent more than a decade at Oracle, where he led some

of the company's most successful enterprise software teams. Grigg's

customers included both discrete- and process-manufacturing

organizations, as well as companies in highly regulated industries such

as food and beverage and life sciences.

-- Grigg holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from the New York

University Leonard N. Stern School of Business.
