Packaging process of highly flammable and hazardous products such as, for instance, deodorant cans, requires special manufacturing methods and components complying with the current safety standards, aimed at avoiding any damage to persons, machines and surrounding environment, whether it is the workplace we daily live in or the air we breathe.
The "XP" (Explosion Proof) version of the EXACTA filling machines has been designed and manufactured to handle products containing alcohol or other substances whose vapors can generate such phenomena classified as potentially explosive. The machines produced by RONCHI and belonging to this category are equipped with mass-type flow meters in a special explosion-proof version. They are available in different executions, depending on required protection degree.
Photocells are all shielded according to the degree of protection required. The electrical cabinet is supplied in explosion-proof version in case it is installed near the machine. If, instead, it is positioned at a safe distance, it can be of the standard type.
Certified components
The "XP" version of EXACTA is built according to the European ATEX Directive, the rules of which have by now found their application worldwide: it dictates very severe and strict rules for the construction and utilization of equipment intended for use in hazardous areas.
All components installed aboard of this special version of the machine are certified by RONCHI; the materials used for the structure of the machine are of the antistatic type; special fumes suction systems are also implemented, as well as proprietary sensors to constantly monitor the vapor concentration inside the machine: if levels exceed the safety threshold, the electric power supply is interrupted and the machine stops automatically.

The above is just an example of the utmost care RONCHI dedicates to the issue; as a matter of fact RONCHI, for this version of potentially "hazardous" machines, provides an additional certificate on the finished product, based on a highly accurate risk analysis. Each step is carefully controlled: the machine is ideally divided into different " dangerous areas", each of which is attentively screened and integrated with all those technical solutions and devices made on purpose and explicitly referred to that "area" of the machine.
The final acceptance test: the last check-up
At the disposal of all its Customers, RONCHI places its testing department, fully equipped premises divided into 3 distinct areas to ensure full privacy, where the machines are tested at the presence of the endusers by simulating real production conditions.
