The Marvell 88DE3100 HD SoC recognized for powering an immersive home entertainment experience at 10th annual awards gala

Marvell (Nasdaq: MRVL) today announced that its 88DE3100 HD Media Process System-on-Chip (SoC) has received two esteemed American Business Awards in the "Best New Hardware Product or Service" and "Favorite Hardware People's Choice" categories. Up against substantial competition, Marvell was recognized for delivering an innovative connected TV solution, meeting the demands of OEMs, service providers and consumers as smart TVs and connected media player devices take a stronghold in the marketplace.

"Marvell is honored to be selected for two distinguished business awards that recognize our continued dedication and contribution to breaking new ground in the home entertainment category," said Gaurav Shah, General Manager of the Digital Entertainment Business Unit at Marvell Semiconductor, Inc. "Working with leading manufacturers and service providers, we have fundamentally changed the relationship between the producers and consumers of content to create far more dynamic media experiences than ever before possible, especially as traditional and Web-based content continue to merge in the living room."

The American Business Awards, more commonly known as the Stevie Awards, were created to honor and generate public recognition of the achievements and positive contributions of organizations and business people worldwide. Since 2002, their mission has been to raise the profile of exemplary organizations and individuals among the press, the business community, and the general public. American Business Awards entries are judged each year by more than 200 executives nationwide, while People's Choice awards are voted by American Business Awards website viewers.
