EUKALIN Corporation expands its strategic presence and production capacity in North America by taking over the business of Adhesives Specialists Inc. as part of an asset deal.
EUKALIN Corporation announced the acquisition of U.S. manufacturer Adhesives Specialists Inc. based in Allentown, Pennsylvania as part of an asset deal. Adhesives Specialists Inc (ASI) was founded in 1983 and has grown into a well-known manufacturer of hotmelts, pressure sensitive and water-based adhesives, developed and produced on a 40,000 square foot facility. ASI serves customers across the United States. with applications like bottle, can and jar labeling: food packaging, carton sealing, paper bag forming and foam bonding. In the future, ASI will continue its work under the name "Adhesives Specialists, A Division of EUKALIN Corporation". EUKALIN in Germany is one of the top leading adhesives producers for paper and film converting worldwide and has also been active in the North American market with EUKALIN Corporation since 2008, focusing on the envelope, packaging and industrial sack segments.

It was important not only to acquire a production facility, but also to add further technology and expertise in the area of water-based adhesives and hotmelt adhesives. Our common target is to strengthen our strategic presence and after a short transition period to start manufacturing EUKALIN products using local raw materials. It is an exciting time for both companies and we see it as our task to meet the expectations of existing customers, new customers and ourselves."
All customers of Adhesives Specialists Inc. will be supported by the same sales, administrative and technical support team as before. ASI products and services will remain unchanged and available to customers in the same reliable way.
