As a leader in printing technology, Konica Minolta has expanded its new bizhub i-series with the introduction of three new A3 multifunction color MFPs. The new bizhub C450i, bizhub C550i and bizhub C650i are part of the next-generation multifunctional system portfolio designed to support digital workflows. Like all models of the bizhub i-series, the new systems set the standard for how multifunctional systems meet the needs of businesses. As secure and intelligent technology centers, they significantly expand connectivity in office environments.
The three new A3 colour MFPs feature the same fresh, contemporary exterior design with intuitive operating features as the current models of the bizhub i-series. The new tile-like quick copy screen and various applications with integrated guidance provide an even better user experience. In addition, the newly developed widget technology allows applications to be embedded and operated directly from the start screen of the MFP, reducing time in front of the MFP and ensuring familiar use on all bizhub i-Series systems. High-performance operation and fast response is also ensured by a powerful quad-core processor and 8GB of memory as standard, plus 256GB plus optional 1TB Solid State Drive (SSD).
The new bizhub C450i, C550i and C650i offer a choice of print speeds of 45, 55 or 65 pages per minute. They replace the popular and highly successful bizhub C458, bizhub C558, and bizhub C658 models - and add advanced intelligent features to Konica Minolta's offering in this segment to accommodate business growth.

These MFPs are also designed to work with sophisticated workflow tools such as Konica Minolta's Dispatcher Suite, which are complemented by security options provided by bizhub SECURE Services. This enables companies to effectively manage print management and advanced document workflow while increasing document security.
As an additional highlight, the three new MFPs feature a double-scan document feeder that can hold up to 300 sheets of documents and offers a higher scanning speed of 280 images/min. They also feature large, redesigned finishers with an integrated manual stapler. The new, faster models of the bizhub i-Series also include an automatic, intelligent media sensor that detects paper weight and media type, actively helping to reduce the cost of additional IT support and the repair of avoidable paper jams. This additional feature is a unique technology in Konica Minolta's solutions and enables uninterrupted use and increased productivity that is unmatched in the office printing market.
