First European install of Lift ERP software delivers an improved customer experience for MacroArt

Leading wide-format print, graphics, and visual communications specialist MacroArt has installed an ERP program from experts Lift Software, the first in Europe, as part of a six-figure investment in its software and process across the business.

The new Lift ERP software has been devised to provide automated real-time scheduling, documentation, proofing and client support in a true sense, delivering efficiency and sustainability benefits for MacroArt and its clients. In all over £100,000 has been invested in the bespoke paperless software solutions.
Managing Director Michael Green said: “It is not often that new software can have such a wide-ranging and positive effect on a company’s services to its clients, but with the new Lift ERP software and our system developments, we are already seeing order processing speeds increasing by up to 35%, with more improvements to come.”
Alongside increasing efficiencies and turnaround of orders the new software also gives customers much greater visibility across print and production departments and enables them to place, proof and track orders through an easy-to-use interface.
Lift ERP is an integral part of Durst’s ‘Pixel to Output’ strategy and the Smart Factory approach, with which Durst is pursuing a holistic concept to create an intelligent, 360-degree networked production environment.
The paperless system removes the need for extended email trails and phone calls through its real-time visibility, reducing waste throughout the production process and maximising efficiencies in both material and energy use.
“By bolstering our efficiency and sustainability credentials, our Lift ERP solution is aiding our company-wide drive to reduce waste; and proving to be a win/win solution,” continued Michael Green.
The software solution was developed and installed over the last 12 months with development and training carried out by Lift remotely during the pandemic.
“Our open collaboration with the team at MacroArt has produced a tailor-made ‘Pixel to Output’ solution, giving their customers a fast, error free and totally transparent client experience”, said Lift Software’s Paul Davidson.

Michael Green added: “We are delighted to be the first large format graphics printer to launch the Lift ERP software within Europe.
“This investment builds on the focus we have as a business to drive sustainable efficiencies that deliver real value for our customers. From instantaneous proofing, project tracking and print approval, to improved delivery times and our ‘web to print’ capability, clients will see the benefits straight away as we future-proof our business and prove the real Art of MacroArt.”
