Market leader Konica Minolta introduces new AccurioPress C14000e series

Konica Minolta, a leader in High Production Printing (HPP) toner colour presses for more than three years, is now introducing the upgraded AccurioPress C14000e series.

Since its global launch in October 2019, Konica Minolta has sold more than 700 AccurioPress C14000/C12000 series machines in Europe. They have since printed an estimated 8.4 billion A4 sheets. The series has also received numerous international awards and certificates over the past three years.

The enhancements to the successful AccurioPress C14000/C12000 series follow customer feedback and will help Konica Minolta further strengthen its position in the high-volume colour toner press market.
Key new features of the Konica Minolta AccurioPress C14000e/C12000e include:
Colour and imaging enhancements, productivity, management and improved connectivity through Fiery Controller version 2.1.
Latest firmware with numerous software additions and improvements.
These include an overall improved user experience, enhanced security features, new media sensor functions and expanded inspection capabilities
A wide range of automated finishing options to create finished print products that save production time
Konica Minolta has received a number of important certifications for the AccurioPress C14000/C12000 series presses. These include INGEDE certification from the International Association of the Deinking Industry, as well as the internationally recognised BS 5609 standard for pressure-sensitive adhesive-coated commodity labels intended for maritime transport. In addition, the AccurioPress C14000 and C12000 machines were certified by TÜV Rheinland for their food-safe toner. Konica Minolta also won the Japan Institute of Design Promotion (JDP) Good Design Award 2020 and the Red Dot Design Award (winner 2021).
The AccurioPress C14000e prints at up to 140 A4 sheets per minute, 40% faster than any other Konica Minolta toner-based system. Together with the AccurioPress C12000e, the second model in the series with a speed of up to 120 A4 sheets per minute, the two flagship production printers represent Konica Minolta's first foray into the high-volume toner printing segment. In this segment, growth rates have almost returned to pre-pandemic levels.
"The C14000e/C12000e systems represent another significant success story for Konica Minolta," says Karl Friedrich Edenhuizen, Senior Product Manager, Colour Devices, Professional Printing, at Konica Minolta Business Solutions Europe. "The enhancements to the systems help our customers grow their business and become more efficient. We achieve this through advanced automation, less manual intervention and higher productivity with noticeable effects and less waste and lower total cost of ownership."
