Reslan Labels Printing installs SCREEN Truepress LABEL 350UV SAI S 7 colour as a step to further digitalisation

This is the second SCREEN label printer that the Turkish label specialist has invested in

Reslan Labels Printing, a Turkish label specialist, has enhanced its digital label printing offering by investing in a SCREEN Truepress LABEL 350UV SAI-S 7 colour. The company chose SCREEN’s high-tech label printer for its reliability and speed, which are crucial to Reslan’s ambition to double their digital label printing operations within the next five years. As Turkey’s first label manufacturer, Reslan has vast experience in the Turkish label industry and is on a path towards increased digitalisation of its production lines.

Emre Görü, deputy general manager of Reslan Labels Printing, says: “Our experiences with our first SCREEN Truepress LABEL 350UV SAI-S 6 colour machine, were excellent. The machine's durability and stability encouraged us to install a second SCREEN machine. The shorter run lengths, low waste and easy maintenance together increase the speed of our print jobs.
“The new SCREEN Truepress LABEL 350UV SAI-S 7 colour fits our ambition to offer customers the highest quality labels within a short time frame and at low costs. Lowering label printing costs is a top priority in the extremely cost sensitive Turkish label market.”
Due to the variety of digital presses, Reslan’s departments can serve different goals. Görü explains: “Some of our customers artworks, for instance, include a violet colour, for which the blue that is incorporated in the Truepress LABEL 350UV SAI-S 7 colour was necessary.”
The new SCREEN Truepress LABEL 350UV SAI-S 7 colour allows Reslan to bring the newest technologies to its customers. “More and more, customers are getting used to digital printing. Our aim is to scale up our digital label printing capacity from 15% to 30%-40% in the next three to five years,” says Görü.
Founded in 1962, Reslan has been a pioneer in the Turkish printing industry, adopting a wide variety of printing techniques to serve its customers. Reslan’s client base include cosmetics, pharmaceutical and food and beverage companies. The company currently has approximately 115 employees.
Juan Cano, marketing director at SCREEN Europe, adds: “Reslan’s choice to purchase a second SCREEN machine to extend its digital label printing services is a wonderful step forward for both SCREEN Europe and Reslan. This label printing specialist has a rich history of innovation, and SCREEN’s label machine’s reliability, durability and stability would help Reslan reach new markets and applications. SCREEN Europe will continue to support Reslan with its fast and responsive after-sales services.”
