FIRST HIGHCON EUCLID IN FRANCE

DLW adds to digital line-up

Highcon announced today that French company, DLW, has completed installation of the first HighconTM Euclid in France. This 40-year old family business with its strong graphic arts background focuses on delivering business differentiation to its customers by means of new technologies like that of Highcon.

Maxime Dumesnil, Managing Director of DLW said: "The print market has been changing rapidly and we aim to be ahead of those changes with our emphasis on providing our customers with value-added finishing.

Our mission is to offer printers, agencies, or production studios the differentiation they need by developing and delivering products that are truly unforgettable. With the purchase of the Highcon Euclid and its unique process, we will be the first company able to supply the design capabilities and rapid responsiveness that our customers need."

Jens-Henrik Osmundsen, Highcon VP Sales EMEA, said: "DLW is an ideal customer for the Highcon Euclid digital finishing solution. The machine capabilities complement their history of innovation, combined with their vision of increasing the value added to the printed page".

The Highcon Euclid will allow DLW to offer their customers a complete digital workflow. DLW are planning to hold open houses for customers to demonstrate the synergy between the Euclid and their Scodix digital enhancement press.

The Highcon Euclid is the first fully digital cutting and creasing machine for converting paper, labels, folding carton and microflute. The Euclid incorporates Highcon's patented 'DART' (Digital Adhesive Rule Technology) to produce creases, and high-speed laser optics for cutting and etching.
