Chicago gears up for return of Labelexpo Americas

Attendee registration is now live for Labelexpo Americas which returns to the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center, Rosemont, Chicago between 9-11 September. Marking its 25 anniversary with an enlarged focus on package printing and the brand owner, attendees will benefit from an enhanced experience from the moment they walk through the show's doors.

The largest label and package printing tradeshow serving the North and South American markets, Labelexpo Americas 2014 will cover over 194,000sqft.

With a growing exhibitor list, made up of more than 400 exhibiting companies, visitors will be able to meet with an impressive range of label and package printing industry organizations all under one roof including: AB Graphic International, Avery Dennison, Delta, Epson, Flint Group, Fujifilm, HP, Karlville Development, Mactac, Mark Andy, Nilpeter, Nuova GIDUE, Omet, RotoMetrics, Screen USA, Sun Chemical, UPM Raflatac and Xeikon.

In addition to the popular conference program, Labelexpo Americas will also include several brand new feature areas to highlight new opportunities to converters and brand owners alike. The Package Printing Workshop will show label printers how to diversify into folding cartons and flexible packaging, while the Inkjet Trail will put some of the available inkjet technologies under the spotlight and compare their results when producing identical label designs on the same label stocks. Other new initiatives include Smart Mart where the latest smart and interactive label technology will be displayed, the Craft Beverage Day for artisan beer, wine and spirit producers and the brand owners' master class featuring industry experts Mike Fairley and Mike Ferrari.

Tasha Ventimiglia, event director for Labelexpo Americas said: "We have made some exciting changes since 2012 and this will help to increase both our exhibitor and visitor numbers. Our main goal will be to engage with existing and new visitors and offer them more easy and effective ways to improve and add value to their businesses. We have teamed up with a number of industry partners and are confident that the new feature areas will help take our label and package printing industry partners' businesses to the next level."

An early bird discount rate is available until 29 August with expo-only passes costing from $55 and conference session tickets from $135. Further discounts apply for members of TLMI, ACOBAN, AIMCAL, AMETIQ, FSEA, FTA and TAPPI.
