Label solutions for logistics - Schreiner ProTech presents high-tech innovations

Schreiner ProTech is one of the leading manufacturers of labelling and functional solutions for logistics. This year, the high-tech expert will present its product highlights at LogiMAT from 31 May to 2 June 2022.

The focus will be particularly on innovative RFID solutions - whether on ESD boxes or metal, whether for particularly high temperatures or heavy mechanical loads: for container management along the supply chain, for inventory or for customised challenges. All product solutions can be found at Schreiner ProTech in hall 4 at booth D05.

Globalisation, digitalisation and automation - for the logistics industry, worldwide traceability and identification of products, components and materials is a challenge - but above all a great opportunity. Schreiner ProTech supports its customers with customised RFID solutions to make logistics processes fit for the future and to become pioneers. Schreiner ProTech will present its product highlights together with the RFID Competence Center Schreiner LogiData at LogiMAT.
Item Match Control
By implementing RFID labels in consumables, Item Match Control enables a system to automatically identify the material. On the one hand, this eliminates the use of counterfeits and plagiarism. On the other hand, the system parameters of the line can be automatically adjusted to the material, which significantly increases process reliability. In addition, the material can be traced over its entire service life.
Demanding RFID applications
Not all RFID labels are the same. Conventional RFID labels do not work on certain materials or cannot be exposed to high loads. For all these cases, Schreiner ProTech has developed RFID labels for special applications. For example, there are RFID solutions that take into account the physical properties of metal, work perfectly on ESD containers, meet the high demands of returnable transport containers (RTI) or easily withstand extreme temperatures of up to 230 °C.
Inventory
RFID tags are also perfect for inventory in a wide variety of areas. Thanks to contactless reading, even in a crowd, the exact inventory can be quickly compared or recorded. Libraries and archives can also manage their stock electronically with special labels that are particularly thin and have been specially developed for historically sensitive media.
Customised solutions
But for many challenges there can be no off-the-shelf application. Together with its customers, Schreiner ProTech develops an RFID solution for this purpose which is precisely tailored to the customer's individual parameters. Be it the label's shape, format or thickness, the RFID reading range requirement or the antenna design - Schreiner ProTech and the RFID experts at Schreiner LogiData will find a solution for all challenges.
