Woodly Announces Collaboration With Finnish Wholesaler Meira Nova

Woodly is proud to announce its latest collaboration with Meira Nova Oy, one of the leading foodservice wholesalers in Finland.

The Woodly® heat-sealed bag for food-to-go products is now officially a part of Meira Nova’s vast and growing catalogue and is available for order.

Meira Nova specialises in serving restaurants, hotels, personnel restaurants, and public sector institutional kitchens for the past 30 years. Meira Nova is taking further steps toward environmentally friendly food packaging with the help of Woodly’s unique wood-based plastic material.
Minimizing food waste, ensuring product freshness and increasing the shelf life of food products are the key qualities of the recyclable Woodly® bag, which is made from Woodly’s unique wood-based material.
“We are excited about the cooperation and the fact that we will have Woodly’s wood-based packaging as part of Meira Nova’s growing selection,” says Suvi Rainevaara, Meira Nova’s Head of Category.
For Woodly, the collaboration with Meira Nova presents another opportunity for growth and to spread awareness about the benefits of the Woodly® heat-sealed bag.
“Meira Nova is a fantastic partner for us, and we are very excited about our future together. The heat-sealed bag holds many amazing qualities and hopefully, we can support Meira Nova with its goals towards more sustainable consumption and reducing the amount of food waste,” comments Jaakko Kaminen, the CEO of Woodly.
