Epson invites students to the design competition "Hello Summer!
Epson is looking for creative designs for a beach collection in the "Hello Summer!" competition. Students from the textile, fashion and interior design faculties can submit their designs until 16 March 2020. The prize is a prize money of 1,000 euros and a complete set of the collection. All materials will be produced with the Epson SureColor SC-F500 dye sublimation printer.
The task is to design a complete beach collection alone or in a team. This includes, for example, a beach bag, swimming trunks and a towel. Participants can upload an image concept of the collection and the designs of the individual pieces on the competition website until mid-March.
In their image concept, the designers should describe to the jury what lies behind their designs and explain what inspired them, which theme they chose and how they implemented it.
The winners will receive 1,000 euros. In addition, Epson will use a SureColor SC-F500 to turn the winning collection selected by an expert jury into reality. This device is Epson's first 24-inch thermal sublimation printer, which is suitable for the production of high-quality print products and offers textile manufacturers, advertising companies, photo laboratories and copy shops completely new possibilities.
