New date for EXPO 4.0 in Stuttgart

Strong trade fair network from 31 March to 2 April 2022 / Trade fair formats with character

The EXPO 4.0 trade fair association - consisting of the three trade fairs TecStyle Visions, GiveADays and wetec - will next take place in Stuttgart from 31 March to 2 April 2022. The new trade fair date will create a beneficial gap to other industry events in the spring of 2022 and will feature Oskar Lapp Hall (Hall 6), Alfred Kärcher Hall (Hall 8) and Paul Horn Hall (Hall 10).

In accordance with the guiding principle "Print. Produce. Promote.", the EXPO 4.0 trade fair association offers the right platform for machinery and techniques for printing processes, finishing technologies for textiles and advertising materials, as well as promotion and sales promotion, for every stage in the value chain. The quality of the trade visitors has been a reliable constant at EXPO 4.0 for years: four out of five visitors play a decisive role in purchasing and procurement decisions, 87 percent have specific purchasing intentions and 84 percent of visitors want to invest within the next 12 months. The intention to visit again by three out of four visitors underlines the positive synergy effects that result from the fact that the three trade fairs are held in parallel.
Exhibitors find the right trade visitors from the skilled trades, trade and industry, benefit from the visitors in the association and the increasing internationality of the visitors: the entire EXPO 4.0 trade fair association attracted a total of 12,518 visitors from 50 countries to Stuttgart in 2020, 28 per cent of all trade visitors to EXPO 4.0 travelled from over 300 kilometres to the event.
Textile finishing with passion
In order to underline the clear structure of the TecStyle Visions trade fair concept, the abbreviation TV was deleted from the previous trade fair name. Future-oriented technologies and the latest textile trends are the pillars of success. In the January 2020 edition, TecStyle Visions manifested its status as the leading European trade fair and industry meeting place: 262 exhibitors, including all relevant companies from the textile and technology exhibition segments, made Stuttgart the European meeting place for the textile finishing industry. The 126 exhibitors from abroad came to Stuttgart from 21 countries. The top 5 countries of origin are Germany, Great Britain, Spain, Poland and Italy.
The future topics of sustainability, customising and digitalisation have been on the agenda at the leading trade fair for years. For the 2022 edition of the trade fair, the ever-changing shopping worlds will be the focus of attention both in terms of further education and in the exhibition area. The trade fair team is already talking to partners and associations about this.
we love to tec you
As a meeting point for the sign making community in Southern Germany, wetec offers a complete overview of sign making, digital printing, illuminated advertising and digital signage. In addition to the wide range of products, trying out new products and exchanging ideas with like-minded people is an important pillar of the trade fair concept. wetec is not only a set event in Southern Germany, but visitors from Switzerland and Austria also appreciate the industry meeting place. Exhibitors at wetec in 2020 came to Stuttgart from 15 countries. Its appeal to the entire DACH region and neighbouring European countries will be further expanded and strengthened for the coming event in 2022.
The supporting programme is designed to encourage participation and is tailored precisely to the needs of the visitor target groups of signmakers, car wrappers, light advertisers, stand constructors and architects. Current trend and future topics for product innovation and product solutions that move the industry are set here for 2022.
Advertising that stays
The 2022 GiveADays focuses entirely on addressing the visitor groups of marketing decision-makers and buyers from the industry as well as agencies and creative professionals. It thus clearly positions itself as "The Advertising Media Fair in the South" for the economy in Southern Germany. The trade fair offers the complete range of promotional products and articles as well as high-quality finishing and individualisation of promotional items. The thematic overlap with the textile finishing sector at TecStyle Visions ensures good synergy effects for trade visitors. With its location in the middle of the market in the economically strong southwest and the good accessibility of the Stuttgart trade fair centre by plane, car and train, the course is set for GiveADays 2022.
