FLYERALARM sports uses Kornit Avalanche Poly Pro to deliver high-quality, photo-realistic sportswear on-demand

Kornit Digital (Nasdaq: KRNT), a global leader in digital textile printing technology, announced that Germany-based FLYERALARM sports has implemented a Kornit Avalanche Poly Pro to expand the design and functionality capabilities for on-demand production of its popular sportswear line.

FLYERALARM is one of the largest e-commerce brands in Germany and one of the leading online print providers in Europe. The FLYERALARM sports subsidiary is expanding the company's market share in textile printing, leveraging Kornit Digital's sustainable direct-to-garment solution to achieve end-to-end digitisation for an end-to-end user experience, agile production for new product demands, and a zero-waste distribution model.
FLYERALARM sports chose Kornit's on-demand technology because it delivers photo-realistic print quality with digital printing on polyester and is compatible with the brand's e-commerce platform. Clubs and individual athletes upload their desired motif to the online team shop and then receive customised jerseys, shirts and tracksuits in white or coloured polyester material quickly, efficiently and reliably. Small runs are fulfilled with virtually no set-up effort or cost, and every order is profitable because production costs are constant.
"We were very impressed with the Kornit Poly Pro. The system is fast, flexible and resilient and is able to print the photorealistic colours we require without compromise," says Martin Fiedler, Marketing and Brand Manager at FLYERALARM sports. "Our customers have very individual ideas about how their sports textile should ultimately look. With Kornit, we have the possibility and the tool to deliver exactly what they want. "
"Kornit has developed the unique one-step production system that offers all the benefits of digital printing, including for the lucrative sportswear and athleisure market," says Chris Govier, managing director of Kornit Digital Europe. "The example of FLYERALARM sports demonstrates the value of a digitised value chain, where customers upload their personal ideas to a website, select a suitable garment and receive the exact design they want quickly and easily. The supplier benefits from a broad portfolio, avoids high inventory levels, and builds a sustainable on-demand production model that can scale."
