Partner Country, Automation Application Park, MDA Forum and more
India has been selected as Partner Country for HANNOVER MESSE 2015, the world's leading industrial technology event. WIN INDIA hosted a special Partner Country area where exhibitors and visitors could learn about participation opportunities. WIN INDIA featured for the first time the Automation Application Park, which demonstrated start-to-finish solutions for integrated manufacturing and where FESTO wowed visitors with its SupraChanger, which can transfer a rotational movement onto superconductive hovering magnets in a controlled, contactless way but without using control technology and without friction loss. The SupraChanger enables fast, complication-free tool changes and can be used in any industry that requires controlled levitation movement, ‎such as laboratory automation, where a mechanical decoupling of end-of-arm tool or work-piece holder from a manipulator is crucial to the application. At the MDA Forum, the focus was on energy efficiency and post-election market development in India's power transmission and fluid power sectors. The International Purchase Managers' Summit gathered participants from companies such as Bosch Management Services, Harley Davidson, Price Waterhouse Coopers, and Siemens to examine strategic purchasing factors such as innovation, time-to-market and cost-competitive sourcing.

WIN INDIA is organized by Hannover Milano Fairs India Pvt Ltd, Deutsche Messe's subsidiary in India, and belongs to Deutsche Messe's HANNOVER MESSE Worldwide portfolio, which includes events in Brazil, China, Italy, Turkey, and the United States. WIN INDIA 2015 is scheduled for 9–11 December in New Delhi.
