ESET®, a global pioneer in proactive IT security, and Canon IT Solutions ("CITS"), ESET's exclusive partner in Japan, announced its joint venture to establish ESET Japan Inc. Located in Tokyo, the new ESET office, which officially began operations on September 1, 2018, aims to increase its market presence and introduce newly developed solutions for both enterprise and consumers.

CITS has been pivotal in establishing ESET's presence in the country and will continue to work together with ESET, as its exclusive partner, to strengthen ESET's position as a lightweight security solution with high precision for consumer and businesses.
With the establishment of this new office, ESET Japan will be led by Mr. Hiroya Kuroda, who brings nearly 20 years of experience in the IT software sector in the Japanese market. He aims to drive ESET brand awareness by increasing the availability of ESET solutions, gathering feedback on the ground from customers for product development and boost security advocacy for Japan.
