arvato Systems gradually builds a secure telematics infrastructure for the eHealth card.
The telematics infrastructure, in short TI, is effectively sealed off from the internet and allows the protected transmission of data from the eHealth card. Together with the Gesellschaft für Telematikanwendungen der Gesundheitskarte (gematik), arvato Systems is building the TI data highway for the public sector.
"We're currently in the test phase within the reference environments," says Jan Wemmel, Director Health & Public Sector at arvato Systems. "During this phase, we have implemented the relevant requirements of gematik and are now performing large-scale independent testing before we install the functionality with assured quality in the gematik test environment for further testing." At the end of the most ambitious IT project of the German healthcare industry is a network of all participants.
