The KIT spin-off Phytonics has developed an anti-reflective foil that gives the velvety colour impression of flower petals on surfaces. Whether on photographs, display panels, furniture, solar modules, packaging or facades - the foil can almost completely suppress the reflection for all wavelengths and angles of incidence of light.
This increases the yield of solar modules by up to ten percent. Produced in a roll-to-roll process, Phytonics film is cost-effective, mechanically flexible and highly resistant to environmental influences.
