Specialty Printing Renews Its SGP Certification

The Sustainable Green Printing Partnership (SGP), the leading authority in sustainable printing certifications, announced today that Specialty Printing recertified its East Windsor, CT facility as an SGP sustainable printer.

Specialty Printing is a top sustainability leader in the printing industry and has once again completed the rigorous certification requirements and comprehensive facility audit evaluating the three areas of sustainability - people, planet and profit. The flexographic operation has been SGP certified since 2014.

“SGP's sustainability management system (SMS) is a key component of our sustainable and provides our customer with an good overview of our commitment to a more sustainable future,” said Francis Poirier, Jr., VP operations, Specialty Printing and past SGP board member. “More customers ask us about our sustainability approach. With SGP certification it is easy to share our achievements and even coach our customers and suppliers on being more sustainable in their daily business.”

Specialty Printing has a long history of reducing waste wherever possible. The facility minimizes adverse impact on the air, water and land through pollution prevention, paper recycling and energy conservation. By successfully preventing pollution at its source, Specialty Printing achieves cost savings, maintains a safe and healthy workplace for its employees and improves the environment.
