The starting signal has been given for the competitions for the 14th German Sustainability Award. The largest award of its kind in Europe will again honour effective contributions to sustainable change in 2021. The prize is awarded in eight categories to companies, products and services that successfully take on ecological and social challenges and see sustainability as an economic opportunity.
The call for entries for the German Sustainability Award has begun. In eight categories, the DNP awards prizes to the best minds and the most effective concepts. The following four competitions may be of particular interest to the print and media industry:
- for Companies
- for Next Economy Award
- for Design
- for Packaging
The entry fee ranges from 350 to 950 euros plus VAT. From 2020, the awards will be even more strongly oriented towards the goals of the German government's Agenda 2030. The competitions focus on the fields in which there is particularly great pressure for action and reflect the UN's Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the goals of the German government's sustainability strategy: climate, biodiversity, resources, fairness and society. The urgency of action in these fields is the leading narrative of the DNP.
