Imec and Holst Centre announced today that they will present nine papers at the 60th International Solid-State Circuits Conference (ISSCC), February 20-24, 2013 in San Francisco.

ISSCC is the foremost global forum on advancements in solid-state circuits and systems on a chip (SOCs). Highlighting breakthroughs in different areas of imec's comprehensive research portfolio, imec will discuss the latest developments achieved in collaboration with its industrial partners.

Imec's articles showcase circuit innovations for wearable and implantable biomedical systems, as well as low power wireless systems design. Moreover, imec experts will also contribute to tutorials, panels and evening sessions.

"By accepting as many as nine imec papers, the ISSCC committee continues to endorse our leading role in ultra-low-power circuit design for next generation healthcare and wireless applications," says Chris Van Hoof, Program Department Director Integrated Systems at imec. "As an organization, we strive to remain at the forefront of innovative research and development and provide value to our industrial partners. We look forward to attending ISSCC's 60th anniversary event and to share imec's strong research advancements."
