SITI Tea introduces its third HP Indigo 20000 to keep up with demand

The co-packing company deepens its penetration to the market with an end-to-end digital solution broadening their offering beyond traditional tea packaging
Morocco-based tea packing company, SITI Tea, has installed its third HP Indigo 20000 into their business to keep up with the growing demand.

SITI Tea has been specializing in tea packaging for nearly 40 years. With its production capacity, flexibility and uncompromising commitment to quality, SITI Tea accompanies the greatest success stories in the premium tea market.
With the tea market continuing to grow and move toward more premiumization, more and more brands are diversifying their offering resulting in increased demand for packaging. With advancements in technology, customers are looking for shorter print-lead times, low waste requirements and the need to keep print exciting and relevant.
Digital printing overcomes these challenges by allowing for qualitative, fast and sustainable printing without compromising on quality. The investment in the company’s third HP Indigo 20000 is intended to meet the increase in digital print, which has been growing 45% YoY.
Operating such large-scale activity requires tight operational excellence. HP and SITI Tea have been working together to increase press utilization, define best-practices and improve KPI’s. As a result, SITI is able to produce in excess of 150 jobs/month/press. Further cooperation enables expansion into new products and applications, such as Stand Up Pouches. Recently, HP Indigo digital printing inks have been certified for use in compostable packaging, for both industrial and home use, allowing SITI Tea to meet their key customers’ requirements for sustainable packaging solutions.
“HP Indigo is the technology and partner you want to grow with. We go long way back, grew together and we have a bright future still ahead”, said Mr. Amine Elbaroudi, CEO of SITI Tea.
The HP Indigo 20000 opens a realm of possibilities for the packaging industry by enabling businesses to efficiently and profitably cope with changing market demands for shorter runs, more varied SKUs, and customized campaigns whilst reducing the environmental impact of its manufacturing.
