Borrowing a page from what many successful companies in the U.S. do by aligning themselves with local professional sports teams, INX Digital Czech a.s. for the first time has signed a corporate sponsorship agreement this season with a popular hockey team in Prague. The deal provides prominent in-arena signage and a skybox suite for entertaining clients at Sparta Praha games, one of the most famous and successful clubs in Czech Republic hockey history.
"Ice hockey is very popular here. The games are shown on television and the exposure is huge," informed Avi Bukai, Managing Director for INX Digital Czech a.s. "We agreed to the sponsorship realizing it would increase our visibility and value in the market place. Combined with providing our clients and guests with an entertainment experience they will remember, we believe it will help drive sales."
The INX Digital logo is highly visible above the goal nets at each end of the Tipsport rink, the second largest arena in the Czech Republic with more than 13,000 seats. The regular season began in September and runs through March before the playoffs begin, which will provide INX Digital additional exposure. Chances are good Sparta Praha will be competing for the championship; the club has been crowned Czech Extraliga league champions eight times in its history and is currently only a few points from first place in the standings.
