On the occasion of the General Assembly of I&P Europe - Imaging and Printing Association, a new Board was unanimously elected on 9 June 2015.
Sven Freyer of Kodak Graphic Communications will in future bear responsibility as the new Chairman, Dr. Mathias Eichorn of Agfa-Gevaert Graphic Systems as Vice Chairman. Richard Tackx of Fujifilm Europe belongs to the Board as a new member.
The General Assembly thanked the outgoing Chairman Matthias Huebener (Tetenal) and the Vice Chairman Wilfried Bauder for their many years of outstanding work. Especially valued were the successful European orientation of the association and the impressive doubling of the number of members to 30 companies in the past five years.
The member companies were altogether very satisfied with the development of I&P Europe. The focus of the association's work is on Health, Safety & Environment compliance management. I&P Europe examines the impact of new regulatory developments on the products of its members and defines the specific requirements for the sector. Member companies share the view that the topics Health, Safety & Environment will continue to gain in importance also in the future. As a result an adequate compliance management of these fields is of vital importance for business success. The overall goal of the association's activities is to contribute to cost reductions among the membership through a common representation of interests.
I&P Europe is the European association of product manufacturers and technology providers for imaging and for the technical reproduction of print materials for analog and digital applications. The product portfolios of the member companies comprise, in particular, consumables like inks, toners, pressroom chemicals and printing plates as well as photo papers, films and mixtures.
