Komori Corporation to unveil our new auto pile turner Apressia AT120H at a private show

Komori Corporation (Sumida-ku, Tokyo; President, Representative Director and COO: Satoshi Mochida) announced that it has added the Apressia AT, a High-end Class Auto Pile Turner, to the Apressia brand range that comprises post-processing machines such as cuttings, die cutters, and blanking systems. Komori will launch the new machine at a private show we are holding at our Tsukuba Plant for customers from both Japan and overseas on February 6 and 7. At this event, we will also demonstrate an Apressia AT120H model with a maximum stack height (including pallet) of 2,000 mm that has an optional pallet clamp function that enables pallet and paper centering.

Atlantis-Pak installs Mark Andy Performance Series Press

The flexo press accounts for 40% of the converter's total label production

Award-winning Atlantis-Pak, one of the world’s largest manufacturers of sausage casings, has installed a Mark Andy Performance Series P7 flexo press in its label printing department in Rostov-on-Don in southern Russia. The new Mark Andy, which joins three European manufactured presses, already accounts for 40% of total label production at the plant.

One of the young and most dynamic narrow web converters in the Benelux, Flexprinter has chosen to grow its business with a Mark Andy P7E at its modern production facility in Nazareth, Belgium. This start-up operation, which is the brainchild of owner and Managing Director Michaёl Thorrez, has chosen to focus on the roll-to-roll production of labels, pouches, sachets, shrink sleeves, and flow packs, as well as other flexible packaging.

Since then, the BARTHEL GROUP, which specialises in the production of self-adhesive labels of various types for a number of industries, has followed every step of the development of TubeScan systems. In the meantime, several of their printing and packaging machines are equipped with these systems for 100% inspection. Since the beginning of 2019 Nyquist Systems is part of the BST Group. The group is responsible for the worldwide sales and service of the TubeScan portfolio.
