Böttcher will showcase its latest innovations, including new plate mounting sleeves for use with photopolymer and elastomer plates, at Labelexpo Europe 2019.
Also, the new BöttcherFlex chemical products for the cleaning of printing plates and anilox rollers will be presented. The products for Direct Laser Engraving – DLE Sleeves and DLE Rubber plates -complete the portfolio for flexo printing.
Böttcher offers special rubber tubes and sleeves for tinting and coating of various substrates, situatable also for primer application in digital printing press. Conical sleeves for gravure printing, silicon application or the laminating process are also part of the product range.
UV curing is the dominant drying technology for label production on narrow web offset presses. Böttcher has developed a range of rubber roller compounds for both inking and dampening rollers which are ideal for use with both traditional UV inks and inks designed to work with the new low energy and LED-UV curing systems.
Complementing the roller compound range, its Böttcherin UV washes and deep-cleaning pastes enable operators to clean the press up quickly and reduce make-ready times, without any adverse effects on the rubber rollers.
