The Advanced Manufacturing Technology Conference (AMTC) is the answer to this need and brings together leading stakeholders to discuss technological trends and innovations.
The fourth edition of the AMTC (formerly MTC) highlights again Additive Manufacturing, one of the innovative centerpieces of tomorrow's industrial production. As the world's most important conference for Additive Manufacturing, the AMTC offers a platform for leading experts from the corporate, academic and political sectors to discuss the latest developments in AM.
In 2021, the AMTC will take place in Aachen. This year’s conference will be conducted as a hybrid event. Plan to participate virtually by interactively joining the conference through our dedicated AMTC 2021 conference platform. Limited on-site attendance feasibility will be confirmed in late July.

In 2021 the Additive Manufacturing community starts into a new era. One of the most important AM conferences Munich Technology Conference (MTC) is expanding its base and will become AM Technology Conference (AMTC).
What makes the AMTC stand out? Why is the exchange in the community so important? Why is AMTC so special and what is behind the idea, that the conference will take place biannual in Munich and Aachen?
These questions were discussed on October 8, 2020, in Munich by Prof. Thomas F. Hofmann, who as President of the Technical University of Munich, focuses on digital-based production technologies such as Additive Manufacturing, Prof. Johannes Schleifenbaum, head of one of the world's best-known chairs for Additive Manufacturing at RWTH Aachen University; and Prof. Michael Süß, who as Chairman of Oerlikon AG created a dedicated business unit for Additive Manufacturing in his company.
