The high-tech company TRUMPF is changing the legal form of the holding's managing company. The former TRUMPF GmbH + Co. KG will now operate under the name TRUMPF SE + Co. KG. This was announced by the company today.
The previous shareholder structure will remain the same after the change in legal form. TRUMPF will continue to be a company owned by the Leibinger family. For the employees of the previous TRUMPF Group, the new legal form of TRUMPF SE + Co. KG will not change anything with regard to their existing employment relationships.
The SE is a European corporate form. The shares in the SE are held by the limited partnership. The character of TRUMPF as a family-owned company will thus be preserved.
