New Managing Director for Manroland Ibérica

Antonio Yubero has been appointed Managing Director of Manroland Ibérica with immediate effect. Manroland Sheetfed GmbH expressed full confidence in Yubero's ability to oversee overall operation and further business growth in the Spanish and Portuguese markets. He succeeds Vitor Manuel Lopes da Costa, who has retired. Costa will continue to collaborate with Manroland as the company's commercial agent in Portugal.

Yubero, 58, has extensive knowledge of the printing industry in the Iberian peninsula after moving up from the ranks in a career spanning more than 40 years. A Spanish national, he started working with Manroland Sheetfed in Germany in 1971. Four years later, he began devoting his energy to the Manroland team in Spain, initially as a technician and then moving on to other important functions. In 1990, Yubero took over the managerial responsibility for the technical division of the company. In 2012, his role included responsibility for the sheetfed business in the Spanish market; he said he was delighted to be offered the position and vowed to maintain the highest of standards Manroland customers have come to deserve. "The Spanish and Portuguese markets are very important to us. We are firmly committed to the growth of the printing industries in these two markets and will continue to strongly support our customers in achieving greater success with our world-leading technologies, innovations and premium services"
Rafael Penuela, CEO of Manroland Sheetfed GmbH, expressed his support to Yubero while also thanking Vitor Costa for his contribution and dedication to the company. "It is really a great asset to us that Mr. Costa will continue to work with us after his retirement," Penuela said. "At the same time, please join me in congratulating Mr. Antonio Yubero on his new position. With our absolute commitment to the printing industries in Spain and Portugal, we are so looking forward to taking our partnership with our customers there to the next level,'' Mr. Penuela added.
