Dr. Mathias Dähn retires from the company
Annual General Meeting postponed to 14 July 2020
The Koenig & Bauer AG supervisory board has appointed two new board members, Michael Ulverich and Dr Stephen M. Kimmich.
Mr Ulverich will take over as Chief Operating Officer from 15 April 2020. His future responsibilities include materials management, purchasing, logistics and the production companies 'Industrial' at the Würzburg and Radebeul sites as well as the subsidiary in Frankenthal. Mr. Ulverich was most recently Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer at Krauss-Maffei-Wegmann.
Dr. Kimmich will also take over as Chief Financial Officer on April 15, 2020. Dr. Kimmich was most recently Chief Financial Officer Europe, Middle East and Africa of Joyson Safety Systems and Managing Director of Joyson Safety Systems Germany GmbH. Dr. Kimmich succeeds Dr. Mathias Dähn, who is leaving the company on 30 April 2020 in agreement with the Supervisory Board. The supervisory board thanks Dr. Dähn for his great service to Koenig & Bauer. Since 2014 he has played a decisive role in the realignment and turnaround of Koenig & Bauer.
To further promote the digitalisation offensive which has already been successfully launched, the supervisory board has also appointed Ralf Sammeck to take over group-wide coordination of the digital transformation in addition to his existing responsibilities.
In the wake of the Corona crisis and the associated uncertainties regarding the holding of meetings, this year's Annual General Meeting of the company will be postponed until Tuesday, July 14, 2020 in Würzburg.
