ebrary Releases New Military Complete and Project Management Subscriptions; Adds Titles to Government Complete

Company expands e-book access for Corporate and Government libraries

ebrary®, a ProQuest business, is significantly expanding support for corporate and government libraries with two new e-book subscription databases, Military Complete(TM) and Project Management.

The company has also added more than 4,900 new titles to its Government Complete(TM) collection.

Military Complete includes thousands of e-books on the most relevant science and technology topics for a variety of military libraries from leading publishers including Springer, Wiley, MIT Press and more. The new Project Management collection contains nearly 200 e-books on subjects such as risk management, strategic planning, lean manufacturing, IT aspects of project management and more from prestigious business publishers such as CRC Press, AMACOM/American Management Association and Butterworth-Heinemann.

"The new collections are highly valuable resources that will enable both corporate and government institutions, in particular, to affordably and significantly expand their collections," said Leslie Lees, ebrary's Vice President of Content Development. "They are an ideal complement to ebrary's other acquisition models, making it very simple to build a powerful information service and see the greatest return on collection investment."

Subscription is a key component to strategic e-book acquisition with ebrary, enabling libraries to examine their usage statistics to better understand user trends and also learn where to strategically apply budget in other models.

Additional benefits of acquiring e-books with a subscription through ebrary include:

-- Continued collection growth at no cost to the institution

-- Dedicated mobile apps for the iPad®, iPhone®, iPod touch® and

Android(TM)

-- DASH!(TM) (Data Sharing, Fast) for fully searchable digital repositories

-- ebrary InfoTools(TM) that turn words into portals to additional

knowledge

-- COUNTER-compliant usage statistics

-- Multiple search and navigation options

-- Chapter ranking of search results

-- Personal bookshelves

-- Highlighting and annotating

-- Text-to-hyperlinks

-- Text-to-speech

-- Automatic citations

-- RefWorks and EndNote integration
