Given that there are increasing numbers of COVID-19 confirmed cases in some regions in P.R. China, the National Health Commission announced on 6th November that "Gathering Activities such as Exhibitions, Conferences/Forums should be held online instead where possible, to reduce risk of spread of epidemic caused by gatherings".
In addition, on 7th November the Shanghai Municipal Epidemic Prevention and Control Working Group Office released statement to request the strengthening of epidemic prevention and control in Shanghai, raising health management requirements of personnel arriving at and returning to Shanghai.
Based on the above instructions from the Government, and with careful consideration, the Organizers reluctantly herewith announce that CHINACOAT & SFCHINA2021, originally scheduled to be held at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC) from 16th to 18th November 2021, will be postponed.
This is a decision not easy to be made. The Organizers sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused to all parties. The Organizers are also now working on subsequent arrangements for our two exhibitions and will look to make appropriate announcements within this week.
