Cavaliers Leverage Postano Platform To Embrace Social In Innovative Ways To Enhance Fan Experiences
TigerLogic Corporation (Nasdaq: TIGR), a leading provider of solutions that help companies improve social media engagement by unlocking the power of data, today announced the Cleveland Cavaliers as the first NBA team to install four permanent social media displays in its arena. Powered by TigerLogic's Postano Platform, the four updated corner boards have prominent fixed social installations, as well as advanced statistics and closed captioning, that run throughout the entirety of games, displaying the best content generated by Cavaliers fans.
As a result, the Cavaliers have seen tremendous in-game social engagement and conversations among their fans. Data gathered from the first 10 games of the season show an average of 20,000 posts per game.
"Working with Postano provides us with the technology to curate and visualize the best social content, sparking conversations among our loyal and dedicated fans and ultimately creating truly memorable brand experiences for them," said Mike Conley, VP of marketing at Cleveland Cavaliers. "The social installations have allowed us to successfully expand the reach of our social activities and engagement."
"We are thrilled to work with the Cleveland Cavaliers," said Brad Timchuk, CEO of TigerLogic. "The team has an extremely passionate fan base and with Postano, we have created incredible new experiences enabling fans to interact with other fans, the team and the brand."
Postano works with multiple sports organizations to help them engage their fans through user-generated content. The addition of social displays provides an innovative method for the Cavaliers to utilize social in an interactive and engaging manner.
